Storyline? So ever since 7.0 and blizzard removing the option of auto track quest out of their interface options ive been left with quest not auto tracking when i accept quest, i have to go into quest log and track it myself. I was finding the occasional quest not being shown in the tracker. It's not a natter of the quest not being in the database - those will generally show in the list regardless, just will not let you click on it to track it. Please advise.

If you open the full world map and click the magnifying glass, is there an option to enable objectives there? I know there is some code that changes Questie internal strings for dungeon quests and PVP quests, maybe that is causing this.

Every other character I have played on shows the location of the npc or target on the mini map. I have SexyMap and World Quest Tracker as add-ons so figured it was probably one of these (but haven't gotten around to disabling either to test), sounds like it might not be though if you get the same issue with the default UI. Update your addons and try again. The two PVP quests you mentioned could potentially cause some issues. This works both in World of Warcraft and WoW Classic. Now, I did check the Database folder and quests/objectives are in there so the problem must be somewhere else. This only happens when you are 10 levels or more above the level of the quest. This is probably a really noob question but my quest objectives are not showing in the mini map. If the quest appears then map coordinates are cached and this allows the QuestieArrow to hook into the position and give you an arrow. It can be downloaded here. I still say a church steeple with a lightning rod on top shows a lack of confidence. To enable this option open the Main Menu (ESC), click on Display, and check Automatic Quest Tracking.
